Faas/Fees/Fahs: Need location they emigrated from in Germany (to Washington County, WI) - - Siblings of Benedict FEES/FAHS/FAAS (1823-1894)? Need Confirmation of parents - Johann Fees & Margaretha Burger. How does the HAUSER family fit into this mix? Are the other Wisconsin/Iowa FAAS families related?

2 Gannon Lines): Coincidence or Connection?

Line 1: Anna
Gannon married Calvin Hawkins ~1810 in NY. Who were her parents/siblings? Was this family Irish? Can you confirm earlier tenure in Orange Co., NY? This Hawkins family to Will Co., IL enroute to WI/IA.

Line 2: Brother & sister Frank & Bridgette Gannon emigrate from Ireland in 1880s & marry Brother & sister Mathew and Margaret Kelly - - in Will Co., IL. Kellys later to IA.

Grauls/Kreyns: In my Blake Line, Christine Grauls (1813-1885) is wife of John Adam Blake. Parents/Siblings? What is the correct surname?

Hawkins (NY) - who were Calvin Hawkins' parents/siblings? Where were the Hawkins pre-NY? Is this an Irish or English Hawkins line? I'm betting my money on them being Irish. (See also Gannon above)

Hinman - Anna Hinman m John Johnson (1755-1819). She is a descendent of Edward Hinman but source lists "whose lineage seems uncertain." Another Bradford Co., PA connection.

Kelly - Canal builders from IRELAND (Where?) enter US via Canada where first 2 children are born (Where in Canada?) to Will Co., IL - then to IA. St. Catherine's area? Was the Canadian Canal work on the Welland Canal?

Shores - Bradford County, PA. Shores aplenty in Bradford Co., PA. My line is via Samuel Shores m Polly Stephens. Next step is to trace them to NJ where they were before they arrived in PA ~1795. Another intrigue: How are James SHORES and Samuel SHORES related?

Winer - Perhaps the biggest mystery I have. . . no info beyond my gr grandfather: John Winer (1874-1929) and his parents: Frederick Winer (1838-1915) and Rachel Neu (1852-1942). Frederick's obit lists him as John, not Fred. Where in NY were Fred and Rachel Winer married? Rachel's father, Gottlieb Neu (1814-1896) ended up in IA as well (living with her brother Fred and wife Mary). Where in IL were Fred and family when several children were born there?
